A brain aneurysm is generally a condition of the brain which leads to bulging or ballooning of a blood vessel within the brain. This condition can often lead to a rupture which in turn leads to heavy bleeding into the brain, also defined as a haemorrhagic stroke. However, it might not be true for all cases, as in some cases brain aneurysm has been found which never ruptured or created any health problems. Probability states these aneurysms being detected during tests for other related conditions.

 

Symptoms indicating ruptured brain aneurysm

  • Persisting Confusion
  • Stiff neck
  • Severe headache
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Sensitivity to light
  • Blurred or double vision
  • Seizure
  • Drooping eyelid
  • Loss of consciousness

Symptoms indicating unruptured brain aneurysm

Although they might not produce any symptoms at all. However, if there are any, they may be:

  • Pain above and behind one eye
  • Change in vision or double visions
  • A dilated pupil
  • Numbness of one side of the face
